Host With Us: Collaborative Events with Yoga Republic

At Yoga Republic, we move away from the standard "room-for-hire" model. Instead, we run collaborative events hosted under our brand and booked through our website.

We believe that by working together, we can build a more valuable and connected wellness community. By partnering with us, you aren't just renting a room; you are joining a collective of practitioners dedicated to high-quality, accessible wellness in the heart of Manchester.

Why Collaborate with Yoga Republic

Hosting your workshop or event as a Yoga Republic collaboration allows you to focus on what you do best - teaching and healing - while we handle the rest.

  • Marketing Support: Inclusion in our weekly newsletter, dedicated posts on our Instagram, and visibility to our existing student base in Manchester and Salford.

  • Administrative Ease: All bookings, payments, and student communications are handled through our professional Wix-powered booking system.

  • Brand Alignment: Benefit from being part of an established brand known for its "yoga for every body" ethos and plain-English approach.

  • Community Growth: Gain exposure to a diverse, warm, and engaged community of local practitioners.

Our Manchester Studio

Our Manchester home is situated on the 3rd floor of the historic John Swift Building in the New Cross neighbourhood. It is an authentic industrial loft space featuring high ceilings, original brickwork, and an abundance of natural light—a quiet sanctuary in the heart of the city.

The Details:

  • Capacity: Comfortably fits 20–30 yoga mats.

  • Equipment: Full use of our high-quality mats, blocks, and bolsters.

  • Access: Please note, access is via three flights of stairs—a complimentary warm-up before your event begins!

1. The Collaborative Model

1.1 Ownership of Bookings: All collaborative events are hosted under the Yoga Republic brand. All bookings, registrations, and payments must be processed exclusively through the Yoga Republic website and booking platform.

1.2 Revenue Split: Yoga Republic operates on a revenue-share model. The Practitioner receives 65% of the nett revenue, and Yoga Republic retains 35% of the nett revenue.

1.3 Nett Revenue Definition: "Nett revenue" is defined as the total gross income from ticket sales minus third-party payment processing fees (e.g., Stripe, Square, or booking platform fees).

1.4 Payout Terms: Payouts of the Practitioner's 65% share will be issued via bank transfer within 7 working days following the successful completion of the event.

2. Marketing & Intellectual Property

2.1 Promotion: Yoga Republic will promote the event via its email newsletter and social media channels (@yoga_republic_mcr). The Practitioner is expected to promote the event to their own network using the provided Yoga Republic booking link.

2.2 Mailing List & Data: All customer data collected during the booking process is the exclusive property of Yoga Republic. This data constitutes a core business asset.

2.3 Data Integrity & GDPR: The Practitioner is granted access to the attendee list solely for health, safety, and event delivery purposes. The Practitioner strictly agrees not to add these participants to their own marketing databases or third-party platforms without obtaining separate, explicit, and documented consent directly from the participant during the event.

2.4 Non-Solicitation: For a period of 12 months following an event, the Practitioner agrees not to directly solicit Yoga Republic clients for private bookings or external events that bypass the Yoga Republic platform.

3. Studio Operations & Facilities

3.1 Accessibility: The Studio is located on the 3rd floor of the building. There is no lift access. The Practitioner is responsible for ensuring this is clearly communicated to their attendees.

3.2 Equipment: The Studio provides 30 high-quality mats, 20 bolsters, straps, and blocks. A high-quality speaker is available upon request.

3.3 Cleaning Responsibility: It is the Practitioner's responsibility to ensure all mats and equipment used are cleaned with the provided supplies and returned to their designated storage areas.

3.4 Temperature & Hot Yoga: Room temperature is adjustable. However, the Studio cannot accommodate 'hot yoga' or any practice requiring external high-heat equipment.

3.5 Staffing: A Yoga Republic staff member will be present to open/close the building and assist with the space. They are not responsible for event-specific set-up or administration.

4. Health, Safety & Liability

4.1 Insurance: The Practitioner must maintain valid Public Liability Insurance (minimum £1 million cover) and provide proof of insurance upon request.

4.2 Practitioner Responsibility: The Practitioner is solely responsible for the instruction, safety, and well-being of the participants during their session.

4.3 Damage to Premises: The Practitioner shall be held financially liable for any damage to the Studio’s premises or equipment caused by the Practitioner or their attendees beyond standard wear and tear.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

5.1 Practitioner Cancellation: If the Practitioner cancels the event with less than 14 days' notice, Yoga Republic reserves the right to charge a £50 administration and marketing fee to cover time spent on set-up and promotion.

5.2 Minimum Numbers: If the event fails to reach the Practitioner’s specified "Minimum Attendees" 48 hours before the event, Yoga Republic reserves the right to cancel the event and refund all ticket holders.

5.3 Refunds: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, but they are transferable to another person for the same event.

6. Business Asset Transfer

6.1 Consent to Transfer: The Practitioner acknowledges that Yoga Republic’s customer database is a business asset. In the event of a sale, merger, or exit of the business, all customer data and historical booking records will be transferred to the new owner, subject to continued GDPR compliance.
